Gimme: Burgundy Booties

When I was in Junior High (or what some of you might refer to as Middle School) I had a pair of burgundy Dr. Martens that I never took off.  I wore them with baby doll dresses, with jeans and flannel shirts à la Angela Chase.  I wore those babies until I wore holes in the leather and it was a sad day when I let them go.

With this season's big resurgence of burgundy or oxblood or whatever other fancy name you wanna call it, it's got me remembering the good times I had in those Docs and craving a new pair of burgundy boots.
